Reading week

Things I have done during the reading week at the mid-point of this term:

• Worked extremely long hours in my day job
• Bought a house
• Got very drunk at a colleague’s leaving do
• Got about halfway through re-reading Ian Pears’s An Instance of the Fingerpost (which is wonderful, in case you haven’t read it)
• Nearly finished putting together the next edition of Carnivalesque
• Trawled EEBO for pamphlets by the authors I’m writing about for my end-of-term paper
• Nearly got to the end of Zelda on Nintendo DS
• Got extremely tired

Things I haven’t done:

• much reading related to my course

Oh well…
