New early modern blog

Res Obscura is a new blog by a graduate student focusing on the early modern period. So far it has had a particular focus on visual culture: particularly wonderful are one post on Edward Topsell’s Historie of Four-Footed Beasts, and another on the Napoleon Dynamite-esque drawings of George Psalmanazar. The blog is beautifully illustrated and has lots of posts already, despite only being up since the end of May. Enjoy!
